BBRrrrr

It is cold in Cambridge today... jealous of those of you who are in warmer climates. Just wanted to write my inaugural blog of 2010. It took me a while I know. Most of you know that our New Year got off to a rocky start. All is well with the world now, though we have not gotten the car back yet. Long long story... Anyway, I started school last weekend, and am back in the thick of it. I had a lovely month off, mostly working and living life very much as it was before school. My schedule this semsester has switched to a heavy emphasis on clinical experience. I am spending my Tuesdays in OBGYN, Wednesdays at Boston's Healthcare for the Homeless program, and Thursdays at Children's Hospital with mainly post--op patients from preschool to adolescence. I have only been oriented so far, but it looks to be an interesting semseter:) All is good in Cambridge, and with Ruairi and the Center of Math. As I mentioned in the subject it is freezing at the moment (a rude awakening to those of us who dared to hope that maybe just maybe winter was over... though knew perfectly well it wasn't). In late february we will be out in San Franciso and Las Vegas for spring break to thaw out for a bit, and March may find us in Ireland for a few days for Ruairi's dad's 60th, brother's 30th, and Easter. Anyway, a very belated and happy new year all around. Hope everyone is great:) Fill us in on the blog...
love,
C and R

  1. We were delighted to have a C&R update. We had heard indirectly of the terrible New Year upset and are so happy you are doing well albeit without a car temporarily. But Boston/Cambridge is the place when you are in such a situation. Why would you go to SF and Las vegas for warmth at Spring Break (dates?) when Houston beckons. Each morning I check the weather at Boston and Sharon as well as Arvada. Are we crazy to move to the last? Actually this winter has been a good deal milder there than the NE. Last night via Malcolm's Flickr site we enjoyed seeing photos from Ireland and Mexico and points in between. Ruairi: The interloping "Follower" still is on my screen for the "Brown Family" but Mal tells me it is gone from his. What is going on? Can you help? It looks as if we will move early in May. The process of unwinding this place is daunting. Any one want to take books? We will drive across country in late June to Lakeville.
    Love and Hugs, Uncle Charlie
