I tried the bread recipe on Saturday and was completely unsuccessful. The recipe did not call for extensive kneading so I did not do it. May I should have? Maybe the yeast was not fresh enough? I am going to stick with the bread maker.
I am not sure I will last until Saturday. I am so burned out and exhausted. Tired of getting up before dark - at least now it is light before I leave the house. I may just sit and stare at the ocean and worry about Oliver's foot. He still has a very impressive limp. I have to figure out what to acquire (and when!) in terms of a hard soled shoe that he can move to after the air cast. I will try to muster the energy for games!
Amazing how Alan Johnson can look the same year after year after year.
It is currently 68 in Seaside. I hope the weather holds!
